A community hero is someone who devotes their time, energy and passion to create positive change. Often working behind the scenes, their efforts profoundly impact their neighborhoods and inspire others to join them in their work. Whether it’s the philanthropist who puts on their own fundraiser for an organization they believe in or the shop owner who provides support during a pandemic, these unsung heroes are the heartbeat of our communities.
Deb moved beyond being a “facilitator” and wrapped her arms around all families she worked with, not only helping them overcome their current challenges but also building relationships to prevent future problems. She modeled a holistic approach to parenting and made sure that her team members had the same training so they could provide the best possible service.

They help families of young kids in crisis with financial and emotional support so they can be the heroes to their own children.
